Thank you for your patience and understanding during dismissal today! Here are some pick up guidelines to remember:
Car riders will be dismissed out of Door B starting at 2:00PM. Students will not be dismissed to an adult that is not parked in their car in the circular carport. School staff will radio from outside to inside and your child will be dismissed to your car. Stay in your car for the safety of our students and yourself. Please follow the flow of traffic to keep students safe.
Adults who approach Door B will be asked to go back to their car and wait in line until their child is released.
Display your Car Rider sign (will be given out on 8/14) in the window so that school staff can call for your child quickly and accurately.
If you walk to pick up your student or your student walks home independently, they will be released from Door O. If you park your car on the street and walk to the building, this is not considered a “walker” and your child will be waiting in the gym and will be released from Door B when the car line is complete.
Students who ride the bus will be put on the bus daily unless the front office is notified no later than 1:00PM. Dismissal plans will not be changed unless it has been communicated through the office to the teacher.
It is highly recommended to reach out to your child’s teacher directly to share your child’s daily transportation routine so that we make sure they are in the right spot.
